TMNT and Shooter review

This was originally posted to the VGS forums.

Just saw TMNT and Shooter this weekend

TMNT was respectable in my opinion.

It will be nice to see if they get to make more. I would like to see where they go with it and I Love the last scene. If you are a fan, you might have issues with a few things. There is plenty of voice talent: Sarah Michelle Gellar , Mako, John Di Maggio and Patrick Stewart just to mane a few.

I am huge fan and the only problem I have is even though they are not in the original comics (as far as I've gotten in to them). I WANT to see Bebop and Frakking Rocksteady. I got in to TMNT with the 80's cartoon it led me to two things the toys and the Archie comics and in to the OG comics. I have had almost every toy they put out from those. I want Bebop and Frakking Rocksteady.

Final verdict: If you’re a Fan it wont matter you’re either going or not but if you’re not familiar with any of it. Save some money and go to the Matinee.

Shooter was good but nothing new.

Mark (yes Marky Mark) Wahlberg is believable in the role of Bob Lee Swagger and Kate Mara is hot. The best parts of this movie are the actors. I love it when Danny Glover plays a bad guy (For best example see Switchback). Michael Peña plays the green around the gills FBI agent that helps Bob Lee out during the film. This is almost a break out role for him.

There is no gratuitous violence or sex so that might make you mad if that is why you want to see it but stay for the actors. Stay because it is an engaging two hours and it is nice to see the hero doing things that make sense.

Final verdict: It's good but not great go to the Matinee.

Researchers Discover the 'Big Sperm Paradox'

Researchers Discover the 'Big Sperm Paradox': “The sperm of Drosophila bifurca is 20 times longer than the male that produces it,To put that into perspective, if humans made sperm that long and you took a six-foot man and stood him on the goal line of a football field, his sperm would stretch out to the 40-yard line.”
